Still haven't be able to code the ladder. So I though of updating the demo in the meantime. I left the attempt to the ladder so you can test how borken it is, remember that if you ever get stuck, R resets the game.

As for what's next; I think I've done enough basic stuff, time to start on what makes a game, so next I'll try making the hud, like a functional hp bar to lead into enemy stuff and sex animations after.
Changelog -V0.04 :
- Added Dash ability. Activates with R. Bumper, R1, I, or C.
- Added item that grants the Dash ability.
- Game no longer executes "always on top"
- Game window is resizable.
- Game won't load with a console/debug window.
- Added the ability to shoot while dashing and sliding.
- Abilities persist between stages. (But the appear again in the first once and can be recollected with no extra benefit)
Thanks a lot for sharing the different stages of the demo. I am a professional developer, but not in games. So it allows me to better understand what are the specific issues encountered in game development (at leat for an independent level) and how you go through it.
ResponderEliminarwill you still make a way for people to play using old machines that don't support Open GL?
ResponderEliminarI found this on a feature proposal github thread of Godot about supporting DirectX for ppl that can't do OpenGl:
Eliminar"Won't happen for several reasons:
Godot is cross-platform at its core, and won't bother supporting a proprietary API for a single platform if there are open source alternatives (OpenGL, Vulkan)
If you don't have OpenGL drivers installed, you likely also don't have DirectX installed either, so that's not a solution. What you're experiencing is probably people who don't have drivers for OpenGL 3.3 (required by Godot 3.0), and those likely wouldn't have drivers for DirectX 10+ either. This will be solved with Godot 3.1 which supports OpenGL 2.1 again, which 99.9% of the market should support.
Our way forward is to implement a Vulkan backend which is cross-platform and performant, and not spend time on a 15 year old DirectX 9 which cannot support any of Godot's rendering features.
Eventually, the Vulkan backend could be used together with a portability layer like gfx-rs which would allow to translate to DirectX 10+, Metal and OpenGL if need be - though even then I doubt DirectX 10+ support will be really useful when all hardware capable for DX10 should also support Vulkan. "
Thanks for the Answer :D
EliminarThis guy has been dying to dump the awesome original, in favor of something hella weird and borderline pedo.
ResponderEliminarlmao have you followed literally anything he's said about why he's doing this stuff? Have you even noticed that flash is literally being blocked by web browsers it's so bad? He's said before this is more of a temporary thing to get used to other programs because he's not using flash because flash is awful.
EliminarI hadn't popped in for a while, saw this post in my RSS, downloaded the build, and gave it a shot. It definitely feels like a solid foundation. I know the Flash one felt iffy to control and often had framerate issues. This one is feeling smooth in both areas, and I had some fun running through. Cheers.
ResponderEliminarHello. Good work. I have two questions:
ResponderEliminar1- Will you plan to add the Horse back on Chibi-Mitsuko game? He was my favorite! And I think a favorite of a lot other people too!
2- How do I access the Bestiary mode(not the Gallery Mode) in the Legacy Version? I completed the game in all difficulties and I can't still enter it. Are the Jellyfish and Wasp there?
1.- 99% no.
Eliminar2.-I... Don't quite sure what you mean, there is no bestiary, only gallery mode to go watch the animations you've unlocked. But either way, I don't quite remember, it's been a long time, and I¿m the one that has played the game the least, so.
The wasp and Jelly will be in the final update, in a zip file with a password the gam will tell you. But I haven't worked on the game, because it's gotten way too unstable. I tried it like 3 week s ago, and the thing crashed on me at the first save I did after working for like 3 mins.
Alright, thank you.
Eliminar1- But you do have plans to add him back on the main game after the Chibi-Mitsuko test, right?
2- It unlocks after beating Easy Mode. It appears below the Galery Mode. If you want I can send you a picture by email.
1.-Not really either. The horse was pretty much NoPenNameGirl's idea. Having regular ass animals don't quite fit the space them I was going for. Now that I have the chance the start anew I'm gonna correct that. I might have a horse like alien creature, maybe.
Eliminar2.-Ah, right, so you figured out your issue? Remember that to actually have animations to watch, you have to get gallery chips, by either getting raped a bunch by the same enemy type, or killing enemies with a high combo counter.
Just a Bug Report.
Checado y confirmado.
