SpacEscape Final Version

 Well, it is done. This is the final update for the flash version of the game. Whatever was left unfinished, will be left as that. I just needed to put this behind me in order to move forward.

I'd like to thank you for your patience, I know I'm a lazy sob, but know that I intend to see this shit through. Now, before some silly of you thinks it, I'M NOT SAYING GOOD BYE. This is me merely closing the flash game chapter down. I'm still making SpacEscape, the real one, in godot.

I'll leave the link HERE and also update the right bar. If you already have the previous version (Feb/20) there's really nothing new regarding the game itself, save for the included animations for the jellyfish and the wasp, you can find them in the folder "not included animations" .

Now, on to keep working on the chibi game and then remake SpacEscape; I feel like I've said this a million times.

Repurposing the Golem

I had this idea earlier this week, from a gif I saw a long time ago of Metroid Zero Mission where Samus approaches one of those Chozo statues and lets it fuck her. And I thought, what if the golem wasn't a boss, but several statues scattered about, and to activate them, Mitsuko has to please them, and then they activate and either move out of the way, open a door or something, or give an item.

Stuff




Little test for the "struggle" animations. Going back to the cutey lovely path. Instead of the enemies having to knock her down and force them into her; it's gonna be more on the lines of attempting foreplay like saying "come on, let's do it, please?", and then if you don't escape in time, chibitsuko would be like "ok, ok, let's fuck a bit".
And instead of her panting in the floor like in the original, she would wave good bye the "enemy", while they walk away satisfied with a happy face.
And the plot would be like chibitsuko is living happily with all the creatures (I have half a mind to make the start cutscene where she's in the middle of a friendly orgy with all of them), and the goal is that she has to get somewhere in a timely fashion, maybe it's the release day of her favorite manga series or some shit, and if you have too much fun in the way there (it also so happens that that particular day, every creature known to cat pun intended woke up feeling particularly horny), she doesn't make it in time.

SE Chibi Edition - Ver0.04 Upload

Still haven't be able to code the ladder. So I though of updating the demo in the meantime. I left the attempt to the ladder so you can test how borken it is, remember that if you ever get stuck, R resets the game.

As for what's next; I think I've done enough basic stuff, time to start on what makes a game, so next I'll try making the hud, like a functional hp bar to lead into enemy stuff and sex animations after.

Changelog -V0.04 :

  • Added Dash ability. Activates with R. Bumper, R1, I, or C.
  • Added item that grants the Dash ability.
  • Game no longer executes "always on top"
  • Game window is resizable.
  • Game won't load with a console/debug window. 
  • Added the ability to shoot while dashing and sliding.
  • Abilities persist between stages. (But the appear again in the first once and can be recollected with no extra benefit)

Last week's Art Strem

 Was feeling in a futa mood that week, but was playing Dragons Dogma all week and didn't got to make some futa until Saturday.


Also made this cute little ladder animation. Tried to code said ladder in Godot last week. But that proved to be more challenging than I expected; I also tried to code at least a little flashing effect for the charge ability for chibitsuko's gun, but that bricked me as well :V

V0.04 Progress Report

 Dash implemented, along with the item that grants the ability. Dash works like in (big surprise) Megaman X games; gives boost to speed that persists during jump, dash travel time = time holding button, and has a little stopping animation and the end.

Shooting while dashing and sliding added.

Chibi Demo Road Map Update Ver0.03

New demo version, grab the link on the right side of the page.

As of right miaow, this little demo already has everything I did in the old one, plus more, so let's continue forward!

Features:

  • "OPTIONS" added to title screen. Still not functional
  • Respawnable Slimes
  • Item box that will change ammo type to "Wave Beam"
  • Item box that grants the slide ability
  • Item box that grants the Double Jump ability
  • Added sounds to the title screen
  • Bug fixes
  • Cuteness
Things to note:
  • If you ever get stuck or whatever, press R to reload
  • All upgrades have basic functionality so if you go into the next area they will be lost. (I added them too to the second level so they can be re obtained)
  • I forgot to set left stick Down as an input map, so use the pad if you use a controller.


CURRENT WIP VERSION: V.04

NEW FEATURES:

  • Options Menu with customizable keys (Probably will be in the back burner for a while)
  • Dash ability 
  • Charge shot
  • Ladders
  • Damage animations (and possibly knockdown too)
  • Slime attack (little pounce)
