Report # Angry Flash

Hi everyone.
So for today's report I did some fixing on the pause menu, added that when you up your stats, the number changes green to indicate you have put points into there, you know, just a little visual add. Semi busted the bug that sometimes makes that the controls don't work on the title screen, and I said semi busted because I fixed one of the triggers, and I know what the other trigger is, that for some reason, if you press esc (so far only tested that key, could be more) the controls just lock, I have yet to investigate why is this.

Speaking of that, flash got angry at me when I was trying to spawn a couple of enemies on the intro lvl, I had everything set up so all that is needed is just copy the movie clip that handles the spawning, but for some reason is not executing the code line that loads the enemy on the stage, weird, as I used the exact same thing for the current 2 playable stages, damn you forgotten gods of Flash.

In other news, kudos to good'ol Kyrieru for reminding me of a change that I was gonna make, but forgot for some reason, and that is to de-cheap the enemies, and what I mean by that is make them fair, like the slime instant attack animation, and the wolf attack pretty quick too, at least faster than the average reaction time, so it makes them feel unfair, like you can't even dodge unless you know what they are going to do. And the fun thing is that I already did that with the horse, he strikes ard but slow, though I think I did overdo it a bit, anyway, the refining for that will be for the next beta, after I finish the intro level.

  1. Tambíen creo que los caballos son demasiados despacios. Yo los mataban fácilmente sin poner nada en ataque. Lo siento si mi Español es lo más peor del mundo...

  2. Uriel, me gustó bastante el proyecto, me fascina, simplemente adictivo. La calidad de animación es profesional. Pero, ¿cómo desbloqueo la galería? no la encuentro por ningún lado.

    1. Tienes que pasar el juego encontrando los 15 items en las 3 dificultades, primero en normal, luego hard y luego easy.

  3. Can you give us (Me) Any Release date of the next Beta? I mean the Progress looks almost finish ;) Please answer would be awesome P.s If you search Beta testers (Prototype testers) I be always there ;D

I never give release dates because I literally don't know myself, this update is the perfect example, I just wanted to spawn an enemy on the intro level, something that I have already done in 2 different areas, why this particular time didn't work? Who knows. Will I encounter more bugs before I finish the intro level? Who knows. Will I be able to fix them quick or slow? Who knows.

  4. Some questions; Has the drop rate of the blue and pink pills been evaluated? Also, what about the clothing drop rate? I can understand the clothing drop rate, it’s pretty rare as it is. But, this is because the player can go into any save room, and grab free clothing. I can understand that, though it may need a little bit more tweaking as far as things go.

    Now, to stem from the pills, the pink pills appear much more frequently. The blue ones…? After a year of casual play through, testing, seeing every nook any cranny, looking at things, playing along and having fun…I have found a total of Two blue pills. Two. That is a worrisome number. I hope this has been addressed in the next update.

    With the clothing, would it be possible to sacrifice some of the Will healing capsule drops in favor of the clothing drops? The control (save rooms,) already have an abundance of Will restoration capsules, so if you made the clothing appear more frequently, you may be able to take the clothing out of the control room to compensate.
