Just had an idea

Yeah...Drop this shit and focus entirely on drawing...

Nah, for real, I just thought of this watching a source filmmaker animation of Jill that I like, she's being pounded by a hunter and what I like about that one is the expression she has and the position of her arms, which faintly suggests half way submitting to the hunter, and on one hand she's still holding her beretta, so I thought "wouldn't be cool is she let go of it as saying -ok, you win just fuck me-"; then I remembered that I'm making a shitty-ass game and I could do it myself.

So, basically, the idea is to make the weapon Mitsu is holding during H animations not invisible anymore, and aside from adding that drop weapon moment I mentioned, for the normal status, I can make a small animation showing her using the weapon to fend off the attacker and do a bit of damage, instead of the insta-stand up explosion thing that's going on right now.

Thoughts?

  1. yeah sounds fine, the bare handed even has it's own animation already, when mitsuko is pushing away an enemy... well only the wolf (explosion)

  4. this is isnt a Shitty ass game, i've been a gamer my whole life and im not talking about a hour a day.
    this game is actually fun to play, the Porn parts are interesting but that's not what im talking about.
    personally i want more levels and bosses. i want it to be harder and have more exploration.
    Screw what people say you don't need a story you just need a good game,
    growing up how many games did you enjoy without reading a thing?

    i'm sorry i didn't plan on this being a big comment, i just wanted you to know its not a shitty game aside from a glitch or two,
    the game feels great. and you've done an amazing job.

  7. I am not sure to understand the concept, but if you want to replace an existing animation with another, more or less as long, then do as you want. However, if the point is to add animation, then I would only mention that: be sure to minimize the minimal transitions.

    I mean, if the player is grinding to accumulate XP, he will repeatedly see the same animations again and again. Assuming that he uses a reasonably good (but still simple) strategy, he will be able to grind fast by minimizing the animations to see during these repetitions. These repetitions should be kept short, otherwise grinding becomes a pain in the ass because the player get the feeling of losing his time by looking animations he already knows and he doesn't particularly want (he is looking for XP, not animations).

  13. Dude... In an artistic sense, I really dig the idea. But as it has been said by someone else, from a game perspective, try to keep it moderately short.

    Give it a shot :) sounds great.

  16. Personally i believe you should get everything done first then go back for aesthetics later. It could be an ability, use the explosion until you get like a 'counter' ability... or give her a graple of her own. Your choice.

  17. Agree with what other have been saying - this is a nice idea, but it's pure aesthetics. I'd rather you nail down the core elements (gameplay, equipment, levels, remaining enemies) before you go back and start tweaking the current sex animations. They're already great as is.

  18. Well, let say all the same another way :

    Uriel, if your objective is to do what *you* want, just do it if you think it is worth doing it. Just pay attention to balance somehow your work to avoid accumulating the less motivating stuff for the end, because more you will accumulate them, less motivating they will be, so you will probably never do them.

    If you want to please *others* because you like to feel useful, competent or whatever by reading their comments, then be sure to work somehow equally on each aspect of the game, in order to have it achieved as soon as possible.

    Like everyone, I guess you fall somewhere between these two positions, so the point is to find the right balance: do the stuff others ask you when you want to get nice comments, do only the stuff you want when you need to take pleasure, and when you feel stuck in one position, switch to the other to change your mind.

  19. Huh, that's a really cool idea. I like it a lot. It'd be a simple thing, but can really add some immersion in a way. I say go for it when you have the time.

  20. You could do that with weapon she has equipped or the explosion if she is unarmed if that isn't too much work for you to do. Also, this might be really late to mention or throw out, but I personally preferred the previous voice for Mitsuko
