Demo

Well, it's true that has been quite a while since I started all this beta testing, and after seeing Pen's post over at the ProjectX forum, I thought that things are at the brim of getting out of hand with all the conspiracy theories and such that's been hovering these last days, so Humbirdo will have to forgive me, but I have no choice but to upload the damn thing XD, he's at the P forums, so I'm sure he's aware of the situation.

Now onto the demo.
Well, since the last ver was posted almost a year ago, you can expect one hell of a change, in fact, since the last version was posted so long ago, even I'm not sure on just how many things have changed, so I'll let you figure it out, also I gather there are some dudes that are new to this, so I'll keep the update list for future updates. Yes the demo will be updated, but as I said before, the end will be defeating the Golem boss, no access to the next areas.

Well, I can't think of anything else to add so I'll take my leave until next time, as always feedback is welcome and I'll wait for any bugs you find. The download link it's on the right, and posted on mediafire because 4shared got angry at me and didn't let me update to it :P.

It's highly recommended that you check all things again (intro, tutorial, etc) even if you are familiar with the game, also if you have previous files and try to load them, you'll end up with a broken file, so making a new game would be a good idea, but you probably won't listen to me anyway :P

  2. If you die while clothed and the monster breaks your armor while you're dead on the floor, you fly up into the ceiling and never stop going up. Also the sword seems to do 0 damage almost every swing. Also the beginning room may be too unclear for some players.

    BTW there is a bug... if you have been knocked down and the enemy attacks you while you are at the floor, the game freezes sometimes...

  4. -If you fill escape bar before you hit the floor in the beginning game bugs and is stuck.

    -If you save over an old (from other demo) save, her sex bar goes through the max and stays that way.

    -After you save and you load all stats are voided and turns into undefined (whether it had anything to do with old saves or not).

    -When your sex bar is full enemies cannot decrease your hp for some odd reason.

    -When two wolves attack you at the same time, you slit into two and has sex with both (plz don't fix this, I LOVE it, just thought to mention it though).

    1. -I did that once and it didn't froze, she just landed on the floor and I had to fill the bar again :/
      -try closing the game and starting a new game, then saving over the old files, that should fix it, it happened to me sometimes, but it should get fixed by hitting new game.
      -if the stats show undefined, it's a corrupt file problem, if the problems persist, erase the .sol file located in this path (it's not the exact path but it's as close as I can got you): "C:\Documents and Settings\(here goes your session user name)\Data program\Macromedia\Flash Player\#SharedObjects\GZVJV6EU\localhost"
      -I think it happened to me, I'll look onto it.

Both the door leading into area B (that catacomb area) and the door leading into the room with the damn near impossible to kill horse (suggesting a serious health nerf, or a cooldown on how fast he recovers from being paralyzed)both require mitsuko to jump , and, in the case of the first door, hang from it in order to get them to open.
    confirming flying armor bug. The moment she dies while armored she goes flying off into the ceiling world. Also confirming the sword bug. 0-2 damage on every single critter in the game. Finally, not sure if this is a bug, but it is really irritating- enemies spawn infinitely and instantly. makes certain parts incredibly frustrating. suggesting a timer to prevent this. That said, this game has improved immensely from the last version. Combo animations are smooth and beautiful, Mitsuko is animated wonderfully, and the speed increases are a thing of beauty.

BIG problem...when I get to the mud monster, I cannot kill it..any hits that register on it do 000 damage, which is NO damage. >< I believe this is a rather game breaking bug, and from all the button's I've pressed, that means I can't even progress. >< The game is rather good...but this bug urks me...

    1. You're just too weak to damage him, but there's a special weapon around that can beat him.

  9. Besides the loading problem...
    -When you succeed in getting up but got attacked while getting up, your char gets frozen

    -one time my armor was full (the black suit) but I still got raped but never happened again

    -the slime at the upper right area by the horse can attack you in a semi-endless loop if you aren't careful(maybe even if you are) tossing you in into the air. Took me about 3 mins to get out

  10. The loading problem is caused by a conflict with OLD saves(even if you overright them. You can clear out all your old flash data by running CC cleaner.

  11. Are there cheats to become invulnerable or something? I can't enjoy the H-Scenes if I'm dying so quickly... also the horse is too damn strong... I get 000 dmg all the time...

  12. I'm really sorry to say this, I'm not enjoying to ramble, but this may be one of the biggest beta-test-failures in videogame history.

    While I enjoy what the new version offers (t's really great), it didn't take even a minute to encounter numerous game-breaking bugs and glitches like the "fly to the moon on death", "stun-lock enemies", "disappearing clothes after saving", "freeze on rape" etc. - even after taking weeks of beta-testing. If you want to sell this game I'm really not impressed. It is a nice game, good concept and looks reallly good. But it's no commercial material, at least not yet.

    2. I'm gonna have to agree with motorpotato on this. As a programmer and developer myself, this is ridiculous. A demo is meant to find bugs, yes, but I'm sure a few hours of testing would have revealed these bugs to Uriel before hand. It's like the maps were changed and a few animations added, but nothing was really tested.

    4. You guys have no shame. Ridiculous is this:

      Ask for the developers to rush up and delivery the Demo fast as possible, then complain "No further tests was being made" or "This is bugged".

      Really? REALLY? How you are SO sure that all time expend since the begin of August was for the game totally? He said Humbirdo didn't had time to test it.

      Besides that, maybe those errors are there because he still didn't found the solution for it, no?

      If you are such a great programer like you say so, send a PM to Uriel with hints how the motive of those bugs to happens and possible solutions.

      Case closed.

    5. Again, I really don't intend to piss on anyone's leg, but to clarify: A demo-version is not meant to find bugs, that's a beta-version. A demo is meant to preview the program and entice me to buy the full product, of course there can be a few bugs in it but in this case, well...

      The moment uriel announced the full game will be a commercial product numerous things changed. There are ways around that:

      Don't call it a demo, instead release a public-beta. Let the poeple take part in the bug hunt, it's much more efficient plus you don't disappoint them if they know what they'll get.

      Open up donations until the game is finished, like Minecraft did. Let people support the beta-version for a discount once it is finished. This way you get poeple invested and make money out of it.

      No one forced uriel to rush things. He announced that the "demo" was "ready" and already beta-tested, he just held it back because one tester didn't play it yet. This suggests that the version was already play-tested to a state it'd be release-able. Of course people get impatient this way.

      Really, I'm not mad. I like this game and see great potential in it, but different standards apply to a work you want to sell.

  13. Well of course there would be alot of bugs in it. Since Uriel was forced to post the demo cuz of the nagging of the other people and their rumors. If this wasn't rushed, maybe things could've turned out differently ya know.

  14. I have a lot of experience in testings of all sorts.. Alpha, beta, name it, I break it down. The ammount of game-breaking bugs in this.. right from the beginning.. It's unacceptable. It feels like all the testers didn't even try the game or cared to tell Uriel about the bugs, it's really sad. If it really would have been tested thoroughly by most testers, it wouldn't have turned out this way. It's not a demo, it's still a beta that didn't even got broken down by serious people.
