Just Passing By...

Just to let you know that I updated the download link, the patch is already there so new people don't get confused and play the bug-infested one.

And on current progress, I'm working on fixing the last breaking bugs, and also coding the changes for playing on hard mode, which will be pretty much the usual, stronger enemies (more hp,def, att) and the recovery items will be less effective, speaking of which, I noted a little error on new game+ which is that after you unlock hard you can begin a new game with most of your stuff, but also you could choose which difficulty you will play on the new game+ which is not quite as it should be, because what's the point on playing on hard if you have already a bunch of stats and level and skills? kinda takes the challenge :P, so that will be out, if you wan t that you gotta clear on normal, make a new game in hard, clear it and THEN you can make a new game+ on hard.
And last but no least, I gotta fix the whole attack+dex formulas so they work ui a coherent way ^_^' right now they don't really make much sense do they? Oh and speaking of that I still have to nail a detail or too but the way the upgrades chips will be handled will be heavily by option 2 they will be finite and hidden through all the game why? because I have still to make another 3 stages, and currently I only have 15 items to collect, plus the remaining suits they would be 21, so... what can I use to fill the stages? the upgrades chips, I know what most people would like to see is a regular rpg exp system, but that won't fit, believe me, the game wouldn't allow the gameplay necessary to fight the necessary enemies to fill the exp to a decent level (24-25 it's the average level you should end with in most rpg's), so hidden chips it is.

You'll heard form me again when I fix the remaining bugs.
Regards.

  1. Good choice picking the option 2... so you can concentrate on more important things instead of working on a decent EXP system...

  2. This new version helps a lot, because I nearly pass the other one but then the save was deleted by itself, so it was a "pain" (I don't care about playing such an awesome game from the beginning). And yeah, I also think that the best choice is option 2, as you can concentrate on the really important stuff as the enemies or gameplay.

  3. Could you have it so the chips are for defense attack and will but have a separate health upgrade?

people want to see the animations too and if you can only have so many upgrade in the game people will HAVE to avoid the h scenes until they finish the game to properly enjoy them.

either that or the enemies do much less damage in easier modes so mitsu lasts longer?

    what do you think?

  6. hey uriel, como le va en mejico eh? ya digo lo que vine a decir, pero en ingles XD i have played many ror games and this one is easly the best, the issue i have with others is that the controls and enemies are too arbitrary difficult, but regardless i came here to report bugs and maybe throw in my 2 cents...most of these regards the upgrade system

Power: for some reason when i raise it to 2 or 3 i hit less, 4 and above it starts to do a bit more until it reaches a point it dont do no more...not much of an issue, just figured you wanted to check into it

Defense: this one works in reverse! when i have 1 every enemy save for golem and superhorse does 1-2 damage, i raise it to 10 and the effin dogs deal 20...what gives mijo?

Dex: i...dont understand what this does honestly, no difference? damage variant balance or something? does she dodges more with this or take less damage on H scenes?

Will: about the only one that works right, albeit the health bar doesnt preadjust for the change and the bar goes beyond its supposed restraint when you get health

my 2 cents would be music, some metroid-like music would be fine, slow paced for exploring and something faster for bosses, also volume control, or at least lower the volume of sounds by half, im not sure how hard any of that is but if its too complicated then meh

anyways love the game, i actually try to avoid getting raped on this one, is that good (without the bugs of course)

    1. You do more damage when you have 1 att 1 dex because I slipped when doing the formula, the way it is, it will calculate which % or your att is your current dex and then based on that amount the damage will vary, so the farther att is from dex the more the damage will vary, design failure :P. It will be scrapped though, dex will only cause your escape bar to fill faster in the future.
