-U- Is dead.

So, yeah guys, relax, I'm not dead, I know, been a while since the last post, but honestly, you should be used to these random hiatuses by now no?

 If I were actually dead, I have my rig set up like L from Death Note and it woul post on all my social media I'm dead :v

Anyway, so far that bug glitch/whatever the hell it was hasn't happened yet, so I guess there's nothing to stop me from getting back to work... Unless; I've been kinda held hostage playing Dragon's Dogma; yes, I know, I already played that one, but the other day I started to watch videos of it and wanted to play, and discovered that it was my only steam game that didn't had the synchronize with the cloud option enabled, so I lost all my saves when I format for win 10. So I started it again, and man it hooked me like the first time; been playing 12hrs straight every for the past 2 weeks; it's bad enough that I have a very hard time stopping watching/playing something I like, and on top of that the game being too addictive.

But yeah, that's for the update on things; I'll go and check my current build versus the last one here on the blog to see if there's enough difference to put another version; because I don't even know what's in there anymore >.<. Either way I'll make a post regarding that.

Report

So, earlier today I open the game to continue investigating this issue, and all of a suddenly everything was fine again, and to be honest I'm not sure I'm happy with that, because I'm now more paranoid about it, if it's gonna be random like that, maybe when it happened the file didn't open properly? I don't know, this never happened before, I'll try setting flash to run in win 7 compatibility mode and wait a couple days to see it the glitching happens again.

On hold until further notice

So, a while ago I "upgraded" to win 10; as I've mention before, and the other day I was foolishly  thinking I was getting ready to post a new version of the game, when I noted a weird glitch on the BG animation of the pause menu, and on further inspection I started to note that a bunch of things were fucked up, like the animation for the suit menu, and the sex dialogues appearing, and even when I was trying to test the golem dual animation, when it started, the golem started to slide to the side! I guess it somehow started to run the combat code? I don't even.

So, the last time I really worked on the game was prior to the "upgrade", so most likely it a win 10 thing, because I'm using the exact same version of Flash. So, until I figure it out what the heck is wrong, the development will be literally stop (not that it will be that much of a difference anyways), I can't really ignore this and keep working because by doing so, I might be planting time bombs unknowingly, and the game is buggy enough as it is.

I'll keep you posted.

Almost finished with the rework on the graphical rework of the game. One golem animation I wanted to change, got half of it on stream, once I finish it, I'll update the beta. After that, I think I'll finally be ready to start the gameplay side of things, like adding new mechanics, better ai etc etc.

SpacEscape ver 08/22/16

Fixed the previous reported bugs, and also finally get rid of the bug that you could use the guard, explosion and masturbation skills right off the bat. Gallery is a bit broken cause it's on wip, but when I'm done with it, if I ever change an animation, it will always be up to date on it.

Ok, so for the ppl that can't use the menu, which is pretty much everybody; you will have to delete your save file in order for the game to set up a new file. I revamped all variables to optimize their use code-wise since version 052715, so old saves won't work; sorry about that.

To delete your save look for MitsukoX.sol in this folder:C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Roaming\Macromedia\Flash Player\#SharedObjects And yes, this is not optional either, I tried to code so that the game creates any new variable I add, but that goes out the window if you insist on using saves created from version 052715 and older. In any case, if the games behaves completely crazy, definitively you need to delete your saves too.

SpacEscape ver 08/11/16

Fixed the gallery unlock bug, turns out, as usual (-_-') that is was an old bug; or rather a fail on design on my part, since the code that checks for the conditions for the gallery unlock only cares about the slot 1, so if you were playing on another slot, it won't count.
Anyway, it should be fixed now, made it so the game remembers what slot was the last saved on, so that should be taken care of, it also let me add another option to the main menu, "LOAD", that will behave as the old "continue" option, and now, the new CONTINUE will quickly load the last save used, like most games nowadays.

It will also be on the right panel for the lost. Oh, another thing, I changed a bit the suit equip menu so it's more intuitive, I think looks pretty cool.
So now you can unlock the gallery, but it still has the old animations, another slip up on design on my part, mainly to laziness/fear to fight through all the code implied, but I guess this is a better time than ever to address that; that will the focus of the next stream, I know I said masturbation, but I think this takes priority ;P

Also I fixed the bug with the hud and the dialogue box showing in random places.
Grab the version HERE I also fixed the toggle hentai option so it saves now, but for whatever reason the dialogues option don't save. And since I had to modify the variables, you'll have to delete your saves to see that change.

SEXTING

So, after last stream (LINK), I didn't particularly liked how all of it was spent on just the dialogues, so decided to open the collab for the sex dialogues to full, while I'm working at more pressing matters, you all can literally work on the game to speed up the development, I figured why not, this dialogues thing is something not so consequential, like, you know (and if you don't , now you're gonna) that I'm somewhat reluctant to accept help, mainly because I want to do this shit as much as by myself as possible, but with something like this, it's fine since it's not like I can't do this, it's just a speed boost (which IMO this works way better than patreon or donations, where you give money in hopes it motivates me to work faster), and now when you see the "and you" on the special thanks of the credits, it will have more meaning right? Besides, from what I've read, no all are thrilled by this feature, so...

So, reply to this post with your suggestions for what Mitsuko should say (or think, whatever), during the sex animations. Here are the RULES:

ENEMIES TO DO: HORSE, GOLEM, Jellyfish(spoiler) and WASP (not so much spoiler)- HORSE and GOLEM are priority for now, since those are already implemented, but feel free to add lines to the other 2 enemies, it would only help in the long run.
Don't worry about the slime, it got about halfway done on the stream, I'll finish it.

WHAT ITS NEEDED:

  • GRAB/STRUGGLING ANIMATION (normal and turned arousal levels)
  • SEX ANIMATIONS (normal, turned and horny arousal levels)

There's no horny grab since when Mitsuko is horny, you get insta-raped remember?

ABOUT THE AROUSAL LEVELS:

  • NORMAL: This should be pretty self explanatory, just a defiant/no consensual/disgusted/etc mood.
  • TURNED: Some may think, "ok, so turned is the middle one, so semi willing", but no. The way I want it, is more leaned towards willing, you could argue almost horny. The best way I can think of describing it; would be like she being in a daze/drunkenness for all the stimulation, to a point where she almost doesn't know what's going on, so resistance is almost none.
  • HORNY: She loves it, and you love that she loves it, do I need to say more?
Ok, so about the GRAB animations, remember that in those there's no sex yet, no insertion of any kind, just foreplay ate most.

I think that would be all, I tried to be as clear as possible so hopefully everyone gets it. That being said, of course I will be "debugging" the submissions, so don't expect a line you submitted is going to be just like that on the game, or be in it at all, I think that goes without saying, but.

Interactive Stream

Tested the sex dialogues on the next enemy, the slime, so far so good, the game does change between dialogues according to the enemy raping Mitsuko, had to battle my way through a couple bugs, but everything is working as intended, now it's just adding the actual dialogues. Also started adding the option to toggle them in the options menu, alongside the hentai option, which I don't think I ever mentioned here? But yeah, you will be able to toggle the hentai content on and off.

Also I forget to mention earlier that I did fix the bug you saw me struggling with in the last stream, turned out as always that it was just a stupid mistake on my part that made me think how did I thought it was a good idead to code such a thing in the first place....*sigh*

So, next Sunday stream at the usual hour, I'll be using you guys again, let's try and get all the remaining sex dialogues done, shall we ;)?

Update

Hey guys.
So I was actually gonna stream this Sunday, but my fucking luck...My mom got sick on the week, and no I'm sick, so so far I've lost 2 days of work, and I've just got out of a cold like a mothn ago. even still, I managed to work a bit on the game, and I completed the code for the sex dialogues and tested it, and so far everything looks good. Now the tricky part will be to make the transitions of the dialogues smooth when the sex situation changes, like from turned sex to horny and so, but things look pretty good.

A Marathonic comeback

-So, it is true, a new stream as I live and breath...-

Most likely what many ppl thought last week when they got the msg I was streaming. Sadly, I forgot to press that elusive "record" button so... Nothing lost anyways, it was random shitty art stuff stream, not spacEscape related.

That being said, I would like to ask something:
So, follower ones, how does the idea of doing a marathon stream, strike you?

Most likely day: Sunday, not this next one, mind you, I have to get things ready, make sure no one in my house bothers me, having food ready, etc etc. Starting early in the morning, and probably finish not too late in the night.
The goal being going through my old to do list and see how much can I get done.

I for one, am all for it, but I must ask, because it would be nice to have ppl actually watching, I mean, I'm not asking anyone to be there the whole time, but if I would be left alone with no viewers for like 2 hours straight, I might end the thing right there.

Now, I know the vast majority of ppl following the blog will say "yes, do it!", only because they want me to put my lazy ass to work, so even if this might be pointless, I'll ask those to not say anything, only comment if you actually planning of watching some part of the damn thing. (reasons explained paragraph above)

So, nothing more to say, I'll go and be lazy now.

Huh, for some reason, I struggled to coming out with new hairstyles, maybe because I'm so used to the regular one? And no, I'm not planning to change it, or do I?...

Been quite busy these last weeks, if you have seen, my tumblr got a bit of activity lately, and I've been working on commission all this time, I actually got more than I'm used to it, so I've been left with no steam for the game. Sadly, I can't tell when I'm gonna get back, as I'm still on the middle of the work.

Also, a couple announcements.
I won't continue the game anymore (jk, jk), seriously, I'm not sticking to a set schedule for the streams, it had been already started to feel like a chore, so that's bad news bears. So what I'm gonna do, is just stream whenever I feel like it, but that doesn't mean I will stream one day, then a month passes before the next; no, I will still stick to 1 per week, only that you might never know when it's gonna come. I will tho, post here with as much preemptiveness as I can so ppl have time to prepare if they want to drop and watch, that being said, I will of course still uploading them here for anyone interested.

So, that's that for that, and I'll see you when I see you, oh, that's right, last stream I set pretty much all I needed for the last Golem animation, just gonna do the loop and cumming and it's done, then I'll just test all the new animations in-game, which probably will be next stream, and after that I'll update the beta. This one was just an hour long tho, just to start slowly after all the hiatus, mmm, maybe that's another option, to do shorter streams but more often, who knows, anyways, nothing more to add, so I'll just bounce.
