Report#[INSERT TITLE HERE]

Well, already mid April and I still can't finish the work...Making progress and all that but, no matter how much I work on it, still not enough. I might end up updating the beta has it is just for the sake of releasing something, I mean, the intro is done, except for the fact it has a place holder instead of the final CG, but I encountered some unfinished things on the credits, and on top of that I thought of adding a thing or two while I was looking at it.

So, this brings me to the question (which I'm 99.99% sure I know what the answer will be). Do you want me to update the beta with what I have, knowing it has somethings unfinished aka rough on the edges, or you'll wait? Oh, and I'll say it again just in case, THE UPDATE I'M TALKING ABOUT IS NOT THE COMPLETE GAME, NOR IT HAS NEW ENEMIES/AREAS, just the "intro stage", the intro story and the new ending credits.

Regards.

  1. part of me says go for it since we can find bugs or glitches (BUT) part of me says to wait till you upload it yourself so we can find even MORE bugs and glitches (if presented) and it doesn't pile more up

  2. If there aren't new enemies etc, then I'm willing to wait until you're ready

  4. Wait until it's ready. Can't be too long, now.

  5. Estaría bien para poder ayudar a encontrar bugs o algún otro error

  6. Do whatever you want to do, both have pros and cons, see if you release it we can bugtest it for you and take some of your work off but if you dont and continue you working on it then what will be released might be higher quality but you might also end up burning yourself out and nobody wants that.

  7. That's right, If there aren't new enemies etc after almost two years scince last update - do really what you wish. To be honest one need to understand that the most interesting in such games are enemies and gadgets. What about entry, story etc, I think nobody really cares about...

    1. Nailed!!! and dont even undestand Why this guy think and intro story and all that crap is important in a hentai game but whatever is his damm game and he expend the last 2 year doing something that nobody gives a crap.

    2. I perfectly know that. I know that everyone out there that follows a hentai game wants more enemies/animations, me included, PX got updated recently, but I didn't bother downloading it since there wasn't any new content, only adding flavor to the existing one.
And I know all of you would want me to add an enemy, update the beta; but I won't, and I'm doing it for your sake I'll have you know, because if I do that, every single update, you'll be playing to see the new content and just for that, so when the game is done, all that will be new is the last bit of content added to finish it, you'll download it, check the new content, and be done with the game, why bother playing it all again if you already know all the content, it's like drinking a [insert favorite drink] drop by drop until you finish it, now tell, me, how would you feel more satiated? Drinking drop by drop, or chugging it all in one sip?

    3. I can't even believe what I'm hearing. No one gives a crap about story? That's so incorrect it's laughable. The best hentai games in existence have all had a good story. I'll point you in the direct of Monster Girl quest and Violated Heroine since you may have forgotten how much story matters. Sex sells. Fact. People choose to play a game because of the nice animations or nice CGs, but that only lasts for so long. Story and game play is what keeps people in the game as well as coming back for more or replaying it. Urielman building up the story element to equal that of the hentai element is what will put your game in the same hall of fame as giants like MGQ and VH. Keep doing what you're doing you're real fans know that quality work takes time.

    4. It seems to me, you're not quite right about the reason, why MGQ is so popular. There are a real bunch of enemies with various sex content there. I do not even no any game with such great number of enemies at all! But I know a lot of games with well developed story and quite poor enemy's list. Nobody rememmbers those games names.

    5. To Uriel: add enemies every single update can lower the interest to the game? That could be right if we would see updates every 2-3 month at least. But the last one was a year and a half ago! Trust me such an event as a new update deserves a couple new enemies an gadgets - as key point of the game.

  8. The point of the beta releases is to generate interest and for the community to help you bug test. You should go ahead and release it now so we can start our jobs of testing while you continue working.

  9. Now, if this were some kind of release candidate for a completed game, either as the release itself or as an update, I would say wait till you have things finished. But since this a game that's still in development, you should be releasing betas more frequently. In this stage it's not really about content, it's more about having a bunch of people playing the game in their own ways to find as many bugs as they can.

    1. I'm thinking in turning this into a early access type of thing, uploading a new version every week, or whenever I made a significant change so it's worth uploading, that is, of course until I finish the demo as it's final form, after that no more changes to it, and only updates on what's been added until the game is done.

    2. If that's something you decide to do, you should consider starting a Patreon and earn a little income that way.

    3. I'm pretty sure Uriel said several times already that not only does he have no intention of charging, but he flat out does not want to, charge for this. So no, no locking shit behind a pay wall. That's a dick move thing to do anyway this far into development. I respect his ethics personally.

    4. Not sure why I'm even responding, but it doesn't make you a dick if you accept donations from people who appreciate your hard work and efforts. It only makes you a generous person to give it out for free. Being a dick is expecting everything for free.

  10. I'd say upload it now as a teaser. You can upload the full demo later without as much of the rush.

  11. Te recomendaría que subas tu actualización, aunque sea sólo por respaldar tu trabajo. Así si alguien quiere bajarlo lo hace y quien prefiera esperar no lo hace. But remember, it's your choice

  12. as long as the is new stuff in game idc

  13. Go ahead and release it. The main idea for a beta is to have it released for testing, we're not here for new content, (yes we are.) You can still do everything you want to do, and we get a little something-something. Now, you don't owe us anything, Just don't burn yourself out on making the game.

    ResponderEliminar
  14. I'd say release it. People have waited this long to see what you've got, so may as well show it to us. Then you can focus on finishing up everything else in the meantime. We'll help take care of testing for you.

  15. I don't follow development closely but all I know is, I'd play it and report any issues. But if you think it's best to wait, that's cool too. Looking forward to the next version, whatever it's going to be.

  16. Just as in the the previous iterations, I'd bugtest and email you if I found anything abnormal if you were to release now. If you intend to release the betas as a bugtesting thing, it'd be better to release them incrementally so that you don't have the buildup of bugs over time due to untested material; bugs can arise from that where the cause is actually a huge snowball that requires fundamental changes, where incremental testing prevents that. (Speaking as a computer scientist who debugs code pretty much every day.)

However, if that's not the intentions of your beta, then we can wait for it to be what you want it to be before you release it. I check back every week or two to see how development's going and waiting for the next update, so waiting longer is par for the course at this point. Also, to those comments earlier about "not caring about story", those people are ignorant of what makes H-games good and not just another time killer. As a previous commenter said, the story and character design are actually very important factors in H-games, even if you have your smaller group who'll just use it for "fap material". That group will pretty much just take whatever they can get and make do with it. Ignore them. This is something you've worked on for quite a while now, so continue to make it the way you want to, and since you do seem to care about story, by all means, do your best! Having a great story NEVER. EVER. hurts any game, no matter what category that game falls into.

    1. I have to agree with Dreamslayer, there are those that would take any kind of fap material withouth consideration. The best things have a deeper meaning and a solid story.
